Studies on major pharmacodynamic and toxicological experiments of Kezhi suppository

ABSTRACT Objective: To investigate the effect of experimental hemorrhoid and security of Kezhi suppository. Method (1) Build experimental hemorrhoid model by using  JiaoCai glue to swell mouse anus, acetic acid to ulcerate it, and investigate the action of this therapy to the model.(2)Investigate the hemostatic effect of Kezhi suppository.(3)Toxicological experiments. Results: Kezhi suppository has outstanding treatment effect to the swelling and ulceration of above mouse, it also has outstanding hemostatic effect and no any toxic effect.

Conclusion: Kezhi suppository is a good therapy to experimental hemorrhoid. It is a safe chinese medication. It proves that it can be used for clinical treatment for hemorrhoid.
